It's important to use up-to-date elements to make accurate satellite predictions -- orbits no more than 30 days out of date are reccomended. For artificial satellite observers, Dr. T. S. Kelso's CelesTrak.com web site is a good source of current orbital elements. The following links will allow you to download the latest satellite orbit files directly from CelesTrak.com:
All of these files are in standard NASA/NORAD two-line-element format and can be imported into Voyager III. To do so, right-click (Windows) or control-click (Macintosh) on any of the above links; then select "Download Target As…" (or the equivalent option) from the popup menu that appears.
After you've saved these files to your computer's hard disk and/or decompressed them, start Voyager III. Go to the Options menu, and select the Define Satellite Orbit command. Click the Import… button, and open the file you just downloaded. Voyager III will then import the satellites in that file into its database. (Note - Voyager III may pause briefly after importing the file, especially if it is one of the larger ones containing hundreds of satellites.)
You can use the links below to download Voyager settings files which demonstrate some recent phenomena not included with the program. To download, right-click (Windows) or control-click (Macintosh) on any of the links below; then select "Download Target As…" (or the equivalent option) from the popup menu that appears. After downloading a settings file, you can open it with Voyager III's Open… command (in the File menu).
