Getting Started with Voyager and SkyGazer
Navigating the Sky
To move around the sky, click and drag in the main sky chart window. Alternately, use the scroll bars on the right and bottom sides of the window. Note the compass and altimeter in the lower right corner; these show where you are looking in the sky.
To zoom in and out, use the + and - keys on the keyboard, or the + and - buttons in the lower left corner of the main sky chart window. To select and zoom in on a rectangular area of the sky, hold the shift key down, then click and drag the mouse.
If you have a mouse with a scroll wheel, you can also use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out, just as with Google Maps. (You may need to update your software to version 4.5.1 or later for mouse wheel zoom to work.)
